My story
Hi, I am Rocio.
I have been in the fashion industry for more than 20 years. I started in my native Colombia at 15, helping my mom with her wholesale fashion business. She often took me to runway walks that helped me develop my eye for line and style.
After completing a pattern-making certificate, I specialized in leather design, creating custom orders tailored to each client: jackets, skirts, vests, chaps and more.
Years later, here in California, and after my son started college, I worked as a Textile Sales Representative in Los Angeles, where I gained a deeper understanding of the fashion industry's challenges. It inspired me to find solutions for the business. To me, the best way to help is to create clothes that fit each client's body, needs and dreams. I prioritize building a genuine connection with the client and offering practical, reasonable solutions to re-establish style with intention.
In 2023, I experienced an event that profoundly shifted my perspective on fashion. I bought a pair of corduroy pants in Colombia that needed to be hemmed. I decided to redesign them using a skirt from my closet that didn't fit me anymore. The result was spectacular. The pants weren't just regular pants anymore; they reflected my style.
That event made me think that everyone should dress in clothes that carry a story, style intention, and the pleasure of a smile when looking in the mirror. That is how MyFeminineStyle was born.
Using today's technology, my client can visualize a 3D preview of their redesigned clothes on their bodies. I love designing and creating for my clients' bodies, needs and dreams.
