Good-quality French terry cotton, kept in the closet for 4 years because it's from my son's high school purchase with its logo — but he didn't wear it much since it didn't have a hood.
A real story
They lived close to each other in the closet for many years without knowing each other.
Until The Great Wave inspiration came, and Rocio transformed them into one masterpiece — the fusion of a beautiful upcycled hybrid garment.

Velvety
A beautiful navy blue blouse full of color and texture, with swirling tie-dye patterns of deep indigo and seafoam silver; a luxurious, shimmering texture that catches the light. I bought it for my son's 14th birthday party. I never wore it again because it was too tight.

The gray sweatshirt features an organic wave shape that reveals the rich, shimmering navy tie-dye velvet underneath. Nothing was thrown away. Nothing lost its memory. Both pieces are worn again — together.
